The distribution of the Android operating system starts on 5 November 2007 with the establishment of the Open Handset Alliance, a consortium of 71 hardware, software and telecom companies dedicated to improving open mobile standards. Under Apache license Google made most of the Android code, free open source software.Android – based software consists of Java applications that work on Java – based, object – oriented application barriers alongside the core Java libraries working on the Dalvik virtual machine, compiling the JIT. Cu’s libraries include surface management, OpenCore media framework, SQLite relational database management system, OpenGL ES 2.0 3D graphical API, layout webkit, SGL graphics drive, SSL, and Bionic library (GNU C library for small devices). The Android operating system includes 12 million code lines, including 3 million XML lines, 2,8 million C lines, 2,1 million Java lines, and 1,75 million C++ lines.
